I love this stupid game so much. I have over 700 hours so far. I did a nuzlocke of this game, and a challenge run where I can only use the leader and helper slots. I would recommend these to anyone who loves this game as much as I do to do the same. I WILL LEAVE THE RULES I USED FOR THE NUZLOCKE BELOW!
Also, if you have any other challenges I could do for this game, please let me know. I haven't thought of anything more difficult to do than only using the Leader and Helper slots. (Side Note: I am working on a Mario Bros Puzzle & Dragons Deathless run, but it is incredibly hard. They implemented lives for a reason.)

CHANGE THESE RULES TO WHATEVER YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE IT FUN FOR YOU!

I used all 3 of the starting eggs
I considered every handout egg a free, usable monster (for example, the dark egg captain watari gives you as a reward for completing the Horai area. This also includes chest eggs.)
You can only play each stage ONE time (even if you don't get any eggs)
If you get any eggs in a stage, you may hatch the FIRST one you got from that level
[NOTES ABOUT THIS RULE. I invoked a dupes clause where you can choose to hatch the second egg (if you got a second one) if the first egg is a monster you already had. Lets say you don't get a second egg, you can keep the first egg to be used for exp or you can hatch it.
I used the Z-box, but be warned, the ATHENA is an incredibly useful machine too. Use both of these wisely since your currency is very limited.]
PERMADEATH!!!! I restarted my save if I died (This challenge is fairly easy though, I've done this twice and won each).
I didn't use any runes
On my first attempt, I did use helpers that are available via secret codes. On my second attempt, I did not use them. It's up to you whether you allow them or not.
TIPS:
Getting combos of 10+ guarantees chip drops, so use ChronoTurtle as a helper A LOT/when you get him from a chest to help with getting combos.
Mighty Moai is a great helper due to its hyper charge ability, letting you use healing skills more often.
Bakky's evolutions (specifically gamble mage and cheat witch) are an amazing help for many difficult stages (like the double anubisis fight with Enigma)

Extra:
If you want to try the challenge where you can only use the Leader and Helper slots, go try it. It is very possible. If you need help with team building, as I found that I could barely scrape by a few stages with a specific setup, let me know. I've beaten the challenge and can give you info that you need. Oh also, if you do attempt this challenge, you will need to grind metal dragon rune stages of all colors. This is easier than you think, you can use the succubus helper and whatever pet you want to level up as the leader, and spam poison smog to kill all the metal dragons.

I only hear Puzzle & Dragons Z, no Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition tracks are in this album yet, could someone please update this sound track to include all of the tracks from that game too; otherwise, the title of this album would be inaccurate.
