| Description: N.O.B. Neo Organic Bioform is a bizarre fighting + simulation game featuring grotesque monsters created with digitized sprites and stop-motion claymation. You can choose one of seven monster characters, just like in a typical fighting game. However, it’s nothing like Mortal Kombat-style action. Instead, you must crawl through a 3D dungeon, searching for elevators to escape from floor B3 all the way up to the ground floor, while engaging in mortal battles against other monsters just to survive and break out of the enemy base! The battle system is very special and unique. You and your opponent take turns controlling your character, with each turn consisting of one punch or kick attack. It can best be described as a semi-real-time, turn-based simulation fighting game. Each character has its own specialties in power, speed, hit points, and more. All of the monster designs and sculpting were done by the late Yusuke Takayanagi(高柳祐介) of Velvet Eyes Badge Inc. He also worked as a creature designer on films such as Zeiram 2 and Kamen Rider ZO, among others. Through his workshop 'Fewture Models', he sold original grotesque creature sculptures and resin kits. These pieces are still highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors even today. |
