My rips I do nowadays don't have loops, at some point I need to redo the rips of all the New Super Mario Bros games because they generally have some errors and the fades, but it's nothing major

What if someone only wants to listen to it once? The song plays once for people who want to listen to it once and then the loop is there for people who want to listen twice. Although I will admit, more people like to listen to them twice in the case of gamerips than people who don't, and looping songs with a fade isn't really desirable because you have to listen to the fade before the song starts again (Although the best fix for that would just be to omit the fade). And I guess the people who only want to listen to it once can just fast forward the song before it loops. I guess it comes down to personal preference.

The standard is it plays then loops once, but still that's pretty silly. If I want to hear something twice, I play it again.

What on EARTH!? Why are ALL of these GameRips only playing ONCE before fading!? They used to play twice before fading!
I just noticed some other tracks that are missing: Castle Boss, Castle Boss (fast), & That theme that plays while you're going through that Secret Monochrome Stage that takes you to the Mushroom, Fire Flower, & Star Worlds... There are also Courses where only the Leaf & Gold versions of those Courses are available. Even the ones that those versions play simultaneously with the regular themes.
Um... There are still quite a bit missing... Especially the fast versions of the levels. As well as regular level themes...

I understand, unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done, the person who did the original gamerip would have to convert the files using a resampler, and then do the tags again.

Its doubtful there is going to be a solution. Best to use a different player.

That too is not possible. It only works if the original gamerip files are resampled to a different sample rate upon the first conversion process. I haven't yet found a way to take a 32kHz non-working MP3 and turn it into, say, a 44.1kHz working MP3.

Unfortunately, there is no fix. itunes and all apple software is incapable of correctly playing MP3 files sampled at 32kHz, which is what a lot of game music is sampled at. Its a bug in their software, and so far I have not found a workaround.

Because a lot of them were duplicates from New Super Mario Bros. Wii! All of the tracks original to New Super Mario Bros. 2 are all that's left, so if you want the rest of them go to Wii

I checked in-game, and it actually does loop improperly the same way! I'm surprised that mistake happened in development. But does that mean the Fast version of Rainbow Ground is actually the same speed in the files, or is that actually a ripping mistake?

this rip is surprisingly good quality, the only problems are it's not organized properly and it has duplicates from Wii (though this doesn’t include tracks with added things to them, like the Castle music with bahs in it)

"Unknown Track" is actually from New Soup Wii. It's used in any hallways in castles leading to the castle boss.
I think the acapella vibe makes the soundtrack a lot more lively than the other games, NSMB DS soundtrack will always remain supreme though.
[SPOILER]sorry Khinsider, but my ratings of this album is -100/10, because this cheap, crappy game subtracted lots of points here, tho it's a nice rip. I never seen a game so cheap that it remixed the old game, put some levels, make some crappy, easy boss fights, then added a ton of coins and a useless element, then called it a new game. This is one of Nintendo's worst game in my opinion, so even tho it's a noice rip, I'll give a negative point to this album. [/SPOILER]

Such unoriginal and laziness! That's why I love newer series, very custom levels and themes! I would rename this album to: new super mario bros wii 2 for 3DS because it is not nsmb, just nsmbwii!
