Everlasting love with this music. Great game, good old times; never come back. My heart is so heavy now but also happy finding these amazing tracks.

One of the best game soundtracks ever. And probably the best of the early NFS games.

Best Games music of all time , this game ( soundtracks ) make me a dream , dream of a electronic music producer and now im a electronic music producer ! i have a lot of memories with this game we play a map ( pi soundtrack ) and volume up . goosebumps skin :D

Definitely and absolutely THE most timeless, profound, futuristic and life-changing video game soundtrack ever. I still listen to it in my car, in gym and sometimes as a background for nostalgic daydreamings (The legendary 90's syndrome). Romulus 3, Pi, Minotaur and Showcase are my favorites. The only game which could give you an almost similar experience, in my opinion, is Ace Combat 3.

This was one of the best racing games that i have ever played......I always used to play this game with my elder brother and both he and i were great competitors for each other.....I started playing this game at the age of 12 and i play it today also when i come back in holidays with my elder brother......no w my younger brother has started to love this game very much and maybe he can become a very good player than me and my elder brother........ ..

One of the best Need for Speed soundtracks of all time. It's also great to see that Aquila, Cetus, Hydrus, and Sirius have been updated too!

i still play this game even up to this day MARCH 2013 i still remember being 6-9 yrs old playing this in my younger days i am 19.5 yrs old and play it on my PS3 it really great because i have the Need for speed 2010 the soundtracks are crappy but i did like to put my old NFS3 soundtrack on my PS3 and start listening to it again while playing the NFS hot pursuit 2010

i love this need for speed III it my favorite game of all time i been playing this since i was 5 yrs old now it been almost 15 yrs sinces i first play it i still play it in 2012..

Next to SimCity 2000 and Test Drive 5, this game's soundtrack really is undoubtedly one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a video game.

Rap or should I say hip hop scence is really no substance in comparison to techno.

In my opinion, this is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest soundtrack of ANY racing game and maybe even video games in general!!! I still listen to this soundtrack while I drive around in my car. If you haven't heard this soundtrack yet then you are missing out big time my friends!!!

i was looking for the need for speed 3 hot pursuit version for ps1. the music on that game was pretty good.

This wins hands down the best video game soundtrack I have ever come across since I played it....been a decade and nothing better yet......and the best techno I have heard too!

I used some program and I was able to put together each song, since they are all split up into many short chunks, in the correct order (that is, in the order in which it appears in the track and if you don't remember, play the game to refresh your memory). This is okay, but the songs are all out of order and lack some of the parts. I have a 5:00 Hydrus, a 5:54 Cetus, and 6:53 Aquilla, as well as the correct versions of the rock tracks, my favorite being Snow Bags.

Great game, wish nfs series nowadays would come at least close to this. Romulus is one of the most inspired track I've ever heard.

Good album, except this collection doesn't have the track they play when you view a showcase for a car.

The game was great as well, I wish they stuck to that formula. The "Tuner" and "Underground" stuff is lame and needs to go.

i LOVED the music the very first time i heard it. kudos to khinsider for uploading... i've been searching for this for over 6.5 years :( . i love hydrus,little sweaty sow,cetus,snorkeling cactus weasels,rear flutterblast,snow bags and flimsy in track order.

I loved this so much, especially when i downloaded cars. Ever heard of "slow kills".
And Romulus 3 is the best.

The sound track is GREAT! I think were heading the wrong way into this Underground and Carbon crap. But the techno back in the hot pursuit days.

I just wish someone would upload the sirius songs (When you select a car and go to showcase it plays)

they sound great when i put the song into gta vice city try play hydrus 606 when completing mission 'trial by dirt' and listen that yourself!!!

The hydrus 606 song is the best techno ever. But the version here spray paints my neighbor bill's last bowel movement...

This game was awesome and it is considered one of the best racing game in last generation of videogames.. I do not understand why EA went so bad with the Need for speed brand. When I played this game in the PS1 and I saw the graphics, I was completely amazed. I played this game hundred of times and I really mastered each track.. The music was amazing I remember that if you play each track reaching the time record you should listen the song of the track completely different, like if they put together the best parts of the entire 12:00 song to make it more awesome. The best track is Empire City and the flimsy track were the best for me..

Missing the showcase music,Romolo di Prisco - Sirius 909. Very good besides that, i like the techno music a lot

I have longer 3:17 min hydrus 606, a 6:17 min cetus 808 mix, and a 6:23 min mix of aquila 303 but in 96kbit/sec wma :\

Looking for these for ages.. quite literally. Started playing this game when I was 10, and im now 19 hahaha. I've been looking ever since then.

Major thanks to whoever ripped this, except your missing the Atlantica track. (Aquilla 303 isnt it.) And your missing Sirius 909, but all is good =)

BTW I know for a fact you can find the extended Atlantica/Aquatica track on limewire as I have it and it is my favorite by far.

I played this game ritualistically to the point to where when I was playing I would literally zone out, think about other things and before I knew it the race was over. I often did better when I wasn't paying attention like that than when I was actually trying. Playing it became second nature I guess. The music was fantastic. It was one of the main factors in why even after i'd beaten it and unlocked everything many times over, I would still play it.

Never been a real racing fun but i loved this game. Driveng a lamborghini at a mountain and hearing snowbags was really cool!

This NFS has the best soundtrack in the entire series so far. Actually, this is the first NFS I played way back then and loved all the techno tracks in it. Especially, Triton.

Best Game Soundtrack ever! I love this but unfortunetly this style of techno is dead these days. Hydrus 606 is probably the best tune i've ever heard! I once had a full mix of it but that was in the dark ages when i was running on a pentium mmx.

this soundtrack is worth it by Flimsy alone! Seriously, listen to that. I'm more of a metal guy, so, i loved the heavy guitar riffs and pounding drums! \m/

I like this game alot. Even today, It's my main racing game, even in comparison to Hot Pursuit 2 Porsche unleashed and Carbon. As Far as the Music, No other racing game I've played ever came close.

I just wish somebody would extract/mix the full version of most of the techno tracks.

Hope somebody uploads Hydrus 606 (hometown extended mix) sometime soon. :(

In my opinion this game has the best Techno tunes that I've ever heard. I've played the game at least 500 times (back from when it came out), and I still find myself listening to these tunes. I can pop them on my mp3 player, plug it into my 360, play PGR3, and still have the awesome memories this game gave me. This is the way need for speeds need to be made. The tuner and "underground" stuff needs to go. Hot Pursuit 2 is the closest thing to the original style today.
