Ah, Riverhill Soft. They produced Kohakuiro no Yuigon for the X68000, the sad dreary soundtrack of which sounds like squeezing the last breaths out of a dying cat for an hour while you're stuck at grandma's dimly lit house. Thankfully, this album is different. While the sad, whining instrumentation is present throughout, it play second fiddle to more funky overarching beats, serving to remind the player that while this is a dirty detective game, someone also died. In this way, this album produces a distinct and memorable mood.

Great Tracks: Coffee Break and Sound 3 (they share the same leitmotif)
Also Good: Secret Information, Questions and Answers, and First Impression #2-4 (they crescendo well at the end)

Overall, 8.75/10. Pretty strong and nothing is bad. Reminiscent of Phoenix Wright.
