"About the music from Mortal Kombat ® II..."
The music for Mortal Kombat ® II was produced using a combination of MIDI synthesizers and live instruments.
The Mortal Kombat ® II music on this CD is the actual music found in the arcade game. The original MIDI sequences and multi-track recordings were remixed and edited only to the extent needed to take advantage of the CD format.
Track 9 and 10 were written and arranged just for this CD and do not appear in the game or on any other CD.

The MK1 tracks are L-R out of phase. Due to some recording or production mistake.

They can be easily fixed with any audio editor which allows to invert phase of a channel. Just flip the phase (180 degrees) or either L or R channel and save the files without re-sampling or re-dithering. And you will get a descent MK1 soundtrack!

LMAO, thanks for the tip, i always knew that the MK1 songs on this CD sounded off, but didn't have understanding of why and how to fix it
