| Description: | Description: Kirby's Dream Land 2 (Kirby of the Stars 2 in Japan) is a platformer on the Game Boy released in 1995. The game is a more direct follow up to Kirby's Dream Land with some elements taken from Kirby's Adventure. The rainbows of Rainbow Island were stolen by a ominous being called Dark Matter, who wish to turn Dream Land to a dark wasteland. Kirby once again gets to action with three new animal buddies Rick, Coo, and Kine and must recover all the Rainbow Drops to stop Dark Matter. The game notably introduces the animal friends which have their own unique special moves and copy abilities, as well as a reoccurring villain Dark Matter, who also shows up later in Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards as a main antagonist. |
