Description

Riot Zone is a port of the 1991 arcade game Riot City developed by Westone Bit Entertainment and distributed by Sega. When Hudson Soft picked up the rights to the game for a home conversion to the TurboGrafx-16, they changed the title and character designs in a matter similar to what they done with various ports of the Wonder Boy series to non-Sega consoles (such as the original Adventure Island on the NES or Dragon's Curse on the TurboGrafx-16). The development of the game was handled by Agenda Co. Ltd.

Hudson published a series of games in the early 90s for the Turbografx with just some nice hard rock CD audio. This is one of those- the sound quality is great and it's all really enjoyable. But, it's like a concern performance at a festival: You might stop and sit to listen while you're there and enjoy the environment quite a bit. However, it's not particularly catchy and memorable later. Still good, though. The first half of the album is also stronger, in my opinion.
