| Description: This cassette tape is suspected to be only sold in trade conventions to promote the Game Boy remake of Heiankyo Alien. Because of this, it's a very rare tape, but some sources suggest a CD version was available for the japanese market. Most songs from the tape are songs from the game itself, however it has two unique tracks, the first being an arrangement and the other one being an advertisement for the game. In 2020 Jeremy Parish released a rip of the cassette tape. Credit for ripping the music and images belongs to him. | Description: Promo cassette distributed by Meldac USA to promote the US release of Heiankyo Alien. Allegedly distributed at the 1990 Consumer Electronics Show. Side A features 7 tracks, with the first 6 songs taken from the original Game Boy soundtrack while the last song is an arrangement of the Stage 1 theme. Side B is a promo advertisement for the game done in the style of 1950s sci-fi radio serials, featuring an alien invasion theme. |
