| Description: These are original files extracted directly from the game archive without any modifications. The tracks were carefully extracted from GunBound XFS archives using the iXFS utility. Since in-game event music could vary by country, region-specific versions, and seasonal updates, I included four different event tracks I was able to find and extract, ensuring no duplicates. Some track titles inside the archives for different seasons were identical, so I added clear tagging to indicate which season or version each track belongs to for easier sorting. As a bonus, I included an additional album with tracks sourced directly from the composer Kevin Lee’s official SoundCloud, offering slightly different mixes and a higher bitrate compared to the in-game versions. | Description: This collection includes two albums: 1. GunBound (Beta HQ) This album was compiled from rare high-quality beta materials once available on eim.kr, the official website of StudioEIM (Electronic Image Music), a Korean music production team led by Kevin Lee and ESTi that provided game soundtracks in the early 2000s. The available files are encoded at 192 kbps, which appears to be the highest quality currently accessible online. Unfortunately, this collection does not include every track used in the game. 2. GunBound World Champion The tracks in this album were carefully extracted from GunBound XFS archives using the iXFS utility while preserving original in-game quality. Archives from different regional versions of GunBound were analyzed to recover four additional event tracks that have been included here. As a bonus, I included an additional track sourced directly from composer Kevin Lee’s official SoundCloud account. |
