Description

Flyonoid (Russian: Мухоноид) is a 2004 action video game developed by Dream Dale and published by Alawar Entertainment worldwide until May 31, 2023 and MasterOfRemakes Interactive in Russia since July 15, 2023. The game has two respective versions: Alawar version was made by Dream Dale and is translated into English, MasterOfRemakes version (initially named the same as the Alawar version, now has the "20.24" subtitle since December 30, 2023) was co-made with MasterOfRemakes Interactive and is only for Russia. The Alawar version was published by Selectsoft for North American CD-ROM release as Flybot.
In this game, you play as Flyonoid, the robot, whose mission is to save the flies. The gameplay is familiar to Mega Man and Contra, but one unique difference from them is that you have to save all the flies throughout 20 levels, killing the aliens is optional. The 20th level has you fighting a big robot controlled by the alien leader. In MasterOfRemakes version, this boss also appears in 10th level since the rename; there were plans to make this enemy stronger and to make him appearing in each second level, but they were cancelled for "development problems and eternal disagreements" at MasterOfRemakes Interactive.
The soundtrack of Alawar version was composed by Sergey Perminov. The MasterOfRemakes version has more tracks, but the "new" tracks were used from other games.

The YouTube user nicknamed geming madness (pro100syper7) considered the MasterOfRemakes version as a "remake," although it was not fully updated from Alawar version.
