bro thinks everything he says is true

Please don't be disrespectful. I don't want to have to report you :(

It's only appropriate that we end this conversation and never talk to each other again. There's no need to reply to this; you've said enough.

Also, just because you say that the Sunsoft version is "a hundred times better anyways" doesn't mean it actually is. There's no contest between both versions; they have equal greatness. You should really stop thinking that everything you say is true; half of the time it's actually not. You have to listen to what other people say, that's all.

Also, I also like the Sunsoft version too, but the only reason why I think it's better than the Tengen version is because of the second and third stage tracks, which are "Keep On The Beat" and "Saari", respectively. Other than that it's okay, I guess.

Actually, there are two different versions of Hot Snow on the arcade version too!! There were two revisions of the original Fantasy Zone on the arcades, with some minor differences (different enemy spawns, default high score names, etc). The original version had no melody for Hot Snow, while the revision added the melody also heard in ports such as this. Sunsoft probably based their port on the original revision, hence the melodyless Hot Snow.
I am a Japanese person who grew up in the US, so I guess that cancels out the bias lol.

I did not know there were two versions of Hot Snow on the arcade version, thanks for the heads-up.\

Edit: I followed you by the way because I respect you ;)(y)

If you think about it, though, the first track in the Tengen version sounds just like the arcade version, unlike the Sunsoft version which leaves out some parts.

The Game Over theme in this version also has the same thing going on. I also grew up in the US (I basically said that on the Mr. Gimmick thread) so I'm a bit biased for this version, considering it was released in my region.

Oh look. A version of the OST with the better Hot Snow. I guess that makes it automatically better than the Sunsoft version.

(Jokes aside, that and the boss theme are the only songs that are better on the Tengen version.)

So although I might sound stupid saying this, I irreversibly prefer the Tengen version to the Sunsoft version (please don't reply to my edit, you've already proved your point below)
