Death Howl: Original Soundtrack
Description:
Description:
Crafted by Danish composer and musician Chris Bjørumslet and game director Malte Burup, the soundtrack to Death Howl weaves together shamanic rhythms, haunting chants and cinematic tension to guide the player between worlds.

Rooted in both organic and synthetic granular textures, the score becomes a ritual in itself – echoing the game’s mythic themes of grief, loss and transformation – creating a sonic journey as immersive and unpredictable as Ro’s path through the shadow world.

Journey through the sorrowful spirit world in a soulslike deck builder. Craft cards and claim powerful totems to defeat the woeful spirits lurking in the mystical lands. Unravel the tale of a grieving mother in her desperate attempt to defy death and bring back her son.

Chris Bjørumslet, who created the soundtrack together with Malte Burup, about his experience with the game and the music:

"Composing the soundtrack for Death Howl meant entering a space between worlds; a place where grief, ritual and transformation blur together. I wanted the music to feel ancient, raw and emotionally alive – like it had always existed beneath the surface of the game’s world. It’s been one of the most challenging, rewarding and creatively fulfilling projects I’ve ever worked on."

Soundtrack by Chris Bjørumslet & Malte Burup.
Featuring Sigrid Dorvil & Mathilde Blyme.

Tracks 2, 14, 19, 30, 38, 47 and 48 by Malte Burup, the rest is by Chris Bjørumslet.

The tracks are available in MP3, WAV, FLAC formats.
