Description

A Shin Chan platformer game for the Game Boy.

Eventually in 1996, Gamtec (weirdly using Nintendo's name) made a bootleg hack of the game where Shin Chan is replaced with Super Mario, known as Super Mario 4.

I assume by bootlegs you mean this.

Look familiar? That's because it's modified from the Japanese cover art for Super Mario 64.
And it even caries over to the title screen as well:

Gametec (not to be confused with the Rare game show producer, Gametek) might be the one behind this hack.

They even claimed to be Nintendo! How dare them!?
