The SoundCanvas was first introduced to the world in the early ‘90s, and would go on to inspire generations of music makers. Small yet powerful, the SoundCanvas features a wealth of quality sounds, features, and effects that can be used to bring countless musical ideas to life. Whether you are using it to sketch out your initial melodies and ideas, or pushing the limits of CCs and extended voices, the SoundCanvas is ready for the task.

CANVAS CITY features 17 fantastic compositions created using a variety of SoundCanvas units, including the SC-55, SC-55mkII, SC-88, SC-88VL, SC-88 PRO, SC-8850, and SC-VA. Some of us grew up using these units since day one, others have only began exploring their wonders in recent years but were nevertheless inspired by their use throughout our favorite media. Regardless, this album shows the timeless influence of the SoundCanvas by bringing us all together, creating new music to share with the world. What is most exciting about this album is how using only the SoundCanvas each artist brings out their own personal musical voice - a testament to its power and versatility in the right hands. From soft orchestral serenades to rousing prog rock epics and everything in between, there is no shortage of variety. Originally dubbed "Project Good Sound" (GS), we hope this collection of music brings a smile to your face and achieves that original vision. The SoundCanvas is sure to continue to inspire creativity in us all.
