What a hidden gem. Ano, Subarashii o Mou Ichido was a clean visual novel released for the X86000 at the rather late date of 1999. The album is low key, going between melancholic, dreamy, somber, sad to tense. The album also has a remarkable consistency to it, even though the songs each do different things. The only real break in mood is Killing of a Fallen Angel. My only complaint about the album is that the track for Crystal is a little long and not particularly pleasing to listen to (it's well done and communicates a great mysterious mood, but it's just not easy listening). Rito (Silly) is also a bit too long. While most of the tracks are great, I particularly like Mireille's Theme and Doubt for the upbeat sections near their ends. Right Before the Bloodshed is also good. I'll give this an 8.5/10.
