Description
6th Planet is a story-driven, Lunar Lander style game. In a near future, Saturn suddenly changes in a planet possibly hospitable for mankind. NASA sends Darius, a chimpanzee, into space to investigate. The player controls his rocket, as the objective is to guide it to the landing site on the other side of the level by pressing the left and right side of the screen to respectively activate the left and right thruster. At the same time an eye should be kept on the fuel gauge, as well as incoming meteorites. The original release featured fifty levels divided across seven worlds, with in-between comic book pages that unfold the story. Because the game proved too difficult for most players, thirty new, easier levels were created for the story mode and the existing ones were moved to Master Levels mode. This 1.1 update also added improved, Retina HD graphics.
