Description
A fairly comprehensive hack of Highway Star, also known as Rad Racer. Many later hacked variants were also released.
An original Shanghai Paradise release. Cars
are changed to motorcycles, and the hack appears to commemorate the 1997 transfer of Hong Kong's sovereignty from the United Kingdom to the People's Republic of China, with players driving from Hong Kong to Beijing. Has no intermission screens; the levels start right after each other. Stage completion theme is removed. Instead of two music tracks that the player can choose by pressing down on the D-pad, the hack features only one music track that players can turn on, though it is entirely new.
