CK the Fat: Not really. While I do desire to live forever, my knowledge has nothing to do with that. If you were dead, would you really care about the world? No, therefore, whether you intend it or not, you are using a desire for knowledge as a desire to live forever. It is illogical to simply want to know for the sake of knowing. As stated, in the very least, you desire knowledge for the sake of entertainment value.
