monkeybutt: I agree that it is always in the site's best priority to ensure that things load quickly for everyone and that the server maintains stable, but I believe that instead of one (or however many) people going and setting the rules in the announcements, that it should be discussed in here and we should all come to a decision together, since I know the staff as a whole knows the forum a lot better then the few higher up admins. I think 40 kb is way too low, what about you guys?

monkeybutt: It's because whenever you close down a popular thread, you loose the members that are interested in that xD and thus the trends change and it is hard to revive things.
