This set contains the music and the sfx-tracks. The songs follow a certain line which is replayed frequently, but doesn't annoy. Some of the songs drop out of this pattern and have a different melody, which is often held quite simple but at the same time is really beautiful.
Overall the soundtrack is kept as a rather good orchestral work - what you'd normally expect from a game of that type. You don't get bored too fast listening to the songs.
Starting Str0050.mp3 you have nice ambient-sfx-tracks such as wind, water, fire or crowd. It isn't something you would normally listen to, certainly. But once you put on a nice screensaver for example, you'll certainly like it as it will help to relax a lot.
I can recommend this quite high quality rip (I have 5.1 speakers and do care for quality). Even though it is only 128kbps you don't hear any artifacts. Due to the fact that the original soundtrack is very very hard to get (the opening single however isn't) - this is a nice alternative for all the fans of this great game and for those who simply like to listen to relaxing and lofty melodies.

Mushinator!: i think it would be kind of weird to have a FFX-3 because even though i really enjoyed FFX and FFX-2 a lot i think square should just leave that specific storyline alone. besides, i'd rather have a new final fantasy game than a rehash of an old one. but, FFX and FFX-2 are still my favorite final fantasy games. yeah yeah, i know tons of people hated FFX-2

"Hello, My name is Kiru..." Kiru called out cautiosly. He hoped that he had not stumbled upon anyone who wished a n00b like himself any disfavor.

Arzur: Currently, I'm stuck in Vol.1 I beat the final boss at level 43 using the twin blade you recieve for beating the Colloseum. I beat the mark of offering event as well. (Way to easy...) Now, does anyone have any suggestions for what else I could do in the game? (I also beat all the quest shop events)
