This was a great game at it's peak and the soundtrack from EA...well, great as always. I trmemeber sitting at home when I was a kid, listening to the main menu tune as it was so cool, and the tracks had the most marvelous music to go with the settings, those were the days when the music was still nice and innocnet, and you could listen to it even if you were like 7 or 87. good good good. |

The Main Menu Track are just amazing. The rest of the tracks are Ok but the best thing I liked was the cars with videos and exceptional sound quality. The site is just as amazing as I have longed for these tracks for years. |

My first contact with superb music is started from this soundtrack... I love this electronic atmosphere... This game without this music is not this same. |

Thanx for the soundtracks ..Dunno if EA itself will be able to create such in game music after NFS II SE especially for the game cos if u have realized underground carbon , most-wanted and all these new games had all the music which is not made by them anymore it is kinda other various artist music and not original scores...brings back old days of gaming..!!
I think the 2 songs Hell bent for lederhosen and Heinerklingle are interchanged jus check them..!!! from the above provided.!! |

It was THE GAME I started with. A Fantastic experience and a wonderful music collection. The best part about this game I liked is that when and if the car slowed down, the music would also slow down, and would again pick with the speed of the car. |

Al NFSII songs are great, but Headless Horse beat them all! When I was 8 I liked to race on that boring track just because that song, jaja. And the music of McLaren's showcase, ooooh man!

One of the best game soundtracks ever.
I like the creative combination of electronic stuff and hard rock like guitar sound that's used by most of the audio tracks (a good match to the very fantasy like varietal road tracks in the game).
Later games in the NFS series were either rock or electronic and doesn't had those creative aspects mostly. Not mentioned NFS today that's only a commercial radio station combined with a car modding and painting game... boring. |

I like the track Corroboree, it's the music of the vidéo of the overview of the Ferrari F50, just amazing, and the main menu theme, one of the best soundtrack of the history of Videogames !!! |

What can I say?!?! I'm an old school gamer! This game's music is not only classic, but set the bar very high for future race games. The music induced adrenaline when you get in to 3rd place or higher, and the showcases.........I don't even need to talk about those. They speak for themselves (especially the McLaren F-1 and the Ferrari F-50) I cry just thinking about this game. |

This was one of the first games my brother and I got when we started getting into gaming. The game itself was fun, but the thing that stuck with me was the music. It was so amazing, so epic; I would sometimes play the game just to hear the songs. They added to the adrenaline of the experience, and made you realize what it was all about: pure fun.
In my opinion, no NFS game since has managed to capture the same feelings as these songs. |
