Abstract: No new news, but ill post my opinion on it!! Well i think im not gonna like Halo Wars that much, cause i dont like "Bird's eye view controling thousands of soldiers" games. If its like Black & White, then i really wont like it. I would rather shoot an elite to death with some smg's, shoot it in the head with a sniper rifle, then blast his particles to bits with the rocket launcher, than play halo wars

The Marauder: Lol, your conspiracy theories are funny. Anyway there are networking issues, but XP had just as many when it came out. Calm down - it's just another OS release. A 2 GHz proc is recommended to run AERO, which is only optional and is featured on the higher versions of Vista. In any case, it would be unwise to buy for the first few months. Wait a bit and get it, it'll be perfectly fine by April, I expect.

Stavros: Well, try to get it to be able to play music somewhere. . .and can you edit the background(skin) to be something else, like a user created one or something?

square-enix: Right, so everyone seems to be getting their ass kicked. The only battle I've been able to win so far is the first quest; kill the small shadow. After that, I brought the shortsword and leather clothes, which don't help and are beside the point. The only source of battle I can find are Traverse to Disney, Traverse to Deep Jungle and hunting in Traverse but those only lead to certain death. The NPCs don't provide much so I'm obviously missing something.

Randomizer: Ah, but the point is that they know before we do. So technically we should be afraid at all times.

The Midnighter: Actually since Windows XP networking was based on NT - It was perfectly fine when it came out. It's why so many companies went with it so quickly, as it also offered more networking features. However, I do agree that whenever they do release service pack 2, it'll at least fix a bundle of the bugs in it - Which brings it from the level of Complete Crap to just Crappy. One of my profs told us he formatted his hard drive the second he bought his new laptop, because it came with Vista installed xD
