while i do enjoy the guild wars collections music i in myself believe that the ambiance nad oversall quality of the music has slowly been deteriorating with each additional campaign it seems as though they no longer have time or the appeal to make it as great as the first one did

I disagree...I think prophecies has its very weak songs such as "Guilds at War", while GWEN has some good songs imo such as its theme, and perhaps the Dwarf Theme. I think Factions is the best personally.

the true joy of listening to the Guild Wars Soundtracks is the nostalgia of the music; remembering all the times you heard the music during missions, farming, and quests makes every song worth listening to.

Quite alot of a more Ambient feel to this soundtrack.

Some absolutely beautiful pieces (Jade Sea :D!)

No especially memorable themes though :[

I agree there are some weak tracks, but I am not of the opinion that the music's quality went down over time, as I like the Eye of the North soundtracks most ;)
