starry_eyed_hero: shoplifting is something you should be raised against. my parents raised me to feel guilt. guilt is painful, but it's also an efficient defense mechanism. it helps protect you from the future life of a common thief. it appears to me that parents nowadays dont typically care if their children shoplift, just as long as they dont have to hear that they got caught.
