Biohazard 2 - The Runaway Sherry, is a audio story based off the characters from the Resident Evil/Biohazard 2 video game. In this story Sherry Birkin the young survivor of the Raccoon City disaster escapes the city when she and her protector ,Claire, are seperated after a run in with a group of menacing individuals. Without the aid of Leon and Claire, she turns to Meg Peters and an officer named Allen for protection.
The drama cd is decently acted with Kotono Mitsuichi (Sailor Moon) and Iizuka Mayumi (Misty in Pokemon) rounding out the two lead females. Though the actors are capable the context of the drama leaves them mostly screaming as sfx parade amongst their voices. This leads to confusing scenario's where without the use of a very elaborate imagination will leave listeners slightly confused to the situations. The use of the Resident Evil 2 soundtrack is used effectively to create the sinister scenario and leaves the audience feeling the dread of the two girls desperate attempt for survival.
With no translation readily available to the public this CD is probably a pass. It ignores plot points revealed in Nemesis and thus creates an inconsistent fate to little Sherry and her non canon buddy Meg. If you love Biohazard and wanna listen to two helpless females scream and get shot at by all means~check this out, but for those going in for some PLOT REVELATIONS~ look elsewhere.
