This album is a pretty good remake of the sega genesis game, except it lacks the mid-90's feel of the Genesis and SNES games.

As clarity and to rectify the ignorance of some of these reviewers, this is actually based off the lesser known PC version with all the more refined music. This is the most definitive version of these songs and it all rocks!

Honestly i love the sega genesis and windows version of this game because of the music, but if i played this back then it will be nostalgic

Meh. This OST is still really good, but some of the songs are better in the Genesis and even SNES versions.
Example: I don't really like the swing rhythm in the Red Alert theme here.

I think the PC version is mostly based on the SNES version, as they share sprites, but it also has parts of original SEGA Genesis version.
