My Rating: 8.37/10
Personal Favorites: Tracks 1.7, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13, 1.14, 2.10, 2.11,2.13, 2.16, 2.17
A modest JRPG album that's best when it's happy and bubbly with that sweet, light, ephemeral sound with a rural flavor. Most tracks that stray away from this tend to be less fulfilling. There's a nice patch of tracks in the middle of the first disc, but the rest of them tend to be less fulfilling. The send of the second disc (before the briefer jingles) also has some good tracks, but these are dominated by the leitmotif from title screen for what it's worth (e.g., 2.11, 2.13, 2.17). Personally, I'd say this is charming and would be lovely to listen through during the game, but there's definitely games that surpass this album and it's not always even.
