This game is definitely underappreciated, just because "real gamers" don't play on those "kiddy" handhelds. Handheld bias is unfortunately real.
And yes, this is my favorite Mario game. Ever.
While it can barely hold a candle to most other 3D Marios like Odyssey, and Galaxy 1 & 2, it's a good little title on it's own and one I have a ton of memories with as I got this with my 3DS back in 2014. Still haven't beaten Special 8 - ? yet and don't think I ever will.

Would you explain why the Boo Waltz track is included and not the Cosmic Clones theme?
Why did they forget Cosmic Clones and have Boo Waltz in here?
Likely due to the fact that the Cosmic Clones track is unchanged from Mario Galaxy 2. There are some slight differences to the Boo Waltz from this game and Galaxy.
I'd advise taking a listen to both so you can notice- it's mostly instrumental changes to fit more with 3D Land's composition style.

I played this game so many times as a kid, beating it 100% on all 3 save files. Listening to these really hit me with classic nostalgia. What an underrated game.

Literally the first Mario game I actually beat as a kid. I love this game. I got it with my 3DS on my birthday in 2016. I lost the cartridge recently... why how could this happen to me?! Hopefully, I find it. I kind of want to replay the game now and I never beat the special worlds.
Anyways, 8/10 OST. 8/10 game.

Realized I was missing a track, was wondering what it was, and come to find out... All the 3D Land tracks I have here are totally different (and in my opinion better, but that's not important) names compared to here. What's going on?
Are you thinking of Super Mario 3D World, released for the Wii U with many of this songs from this upgraded with better sounding instruments?
Why do I need to donate I just want to download all the songs.
Because…
1. This site costs money to run.
2. Initially, they allowed mass downloads but it overloaded the servers and download speeds were much slower.
3. It would be nice to the owners of this site by making alll this VGM available for download (although other people upload it to this site).

i had to sell my ds to get a ps3 so thats why i didnt complete it but it was worth it for sonic unleashed

The transition on Beach ~ Underwater is the sloppiest and least satisfying thing I've ever heard. 2/10. Rest is fine 10/10

It's sad that this game has almost been completely forgotten. I am hopeful for the future though, as it is making a resurgence on the SwankyBox YouTube Channel.
