There are three versions of these tracks on this website, the X68000, the PC-88, and the Xak II and Fray tracks from the PC-98 (which is only partial). The PC-88 tracks are generally much clearer but the instrumentation just sounds a bit more basic at points. By contrast, the X68000 tracks sound muffled albeit this can sometime at the ambience. For instance, Borozu Woods is better on the X68000 than the PC-88, albeit still not perfect (but nonetheless a great track).

That aside, despite the somewhat muffled sound, this is one of those album where there's just so much good that it's hard to choose noteworthy tracks and to distinguish those that are better. It is worth noting that many of these tracks don't start out excellent but they get there. The strength of this album is its progression- there are tracks, like Harbor, Boss Ending, and The Sleeping Princess Myun, that just sound good from start to finish, but others like Borozu Woods and Shipwrecked at Death Mountain and The Final Battle of Mortals take some time to get there. Overall, I'd give this a 9.25/10. Definitely some stuff to come back to here.
