Description

The PC Engine version does not have the arcade Stages 5 and 8, but features a stage titled SPECIAL and a new introduction that features several strange-looking Japanese characters. This is in contrast to the arcade intro, which chronicles the Gradius legacy up until the time of release.

Personal Favorites: TwinBee's Theme [18], Electric Spectaculared [20]

I'm not fond of Parodius, mainly because it either utilized Classical music or just takes a lot of Namco songs that are already good and changes them in ways that aren't as good. It also tends to be flippant more so than crazy (compare for instance, Dragon Half or Fray's soundtracks). However, the drums and bass on this album are fairly solid and hold the thing together well, even though I'm not a particular fan of most tracks.
