So there's a split here between regular synth and CD audio, with the CD audio in my opinion being stronger in just about every case. Overall, the quality is high and everything sounds good, albeit some songs tend to overstay their welcome. In these cases, the first half of the song is great while the second half is lackluster, albeit the first half is loopable so you can just cut the second half off. Overall, 8.67/10.

In my opinion,
Exceptional: The Neverglades [CD32] (Sounds like something out of Stardew Valley)
Also Good:
Title Screen [CD32], Stardust Caverns [CD32], Diamond Foundry [CD32]
