TOP HUNTER (1994)

This is actually the Neo Geo CD version of this game, and audio rip. The Neo Geo MVS/AES version sounds totally different, and depending on which mode it's played on (AES/MVS) it has more levels as well.

Regarding the OST here, it sounds pretty good, but by looking at the total file size, and what I'm able to hear it's a lower quality version of this. I got a FLAC version, then I turned it into LAME CBR MP3 LAME 320Kbps tracks for compatibility and quality. Which also means these tracks are fairly out of order, and have dead air in them that exceeds 6 seconds on each track, and has no MP3 tagging to know the origins of the played tracks. I fixed all of this myself with no loss of quality to the MP3 versions using DirectCutMP3, and used a MP3 tagger to title the tracks. If there was a way for me to upload, and update this I would. The dead air in it alone makes some tracks longer than the actual played music/sound, which is a big no no to me. There really isn't much of a way to know composer since SNK had a in house team that did a lot of the music (SNK Sound Team) that I think did other games too that are not SNK/ADK made.

Only big difference between the CD, and MVS/AES versions was the use of Redbook audio on the CD version. Some tracks arguably sound better with the Neo Geo AES/MVS hardware, but tomatoe tomato.

This is no longer the neo geo cd version sadly there is no way to find the neo geo cd version and it seems that both of the avaible version of this game ost its the MVS/AESver Wich is sad because the neo geo cd ver is rare than the mvs ver and sounds way better that this one but well depends form person to person

Well, I guess they decided to remove the Neo Geo CD version, despite they had the AES, and MVS version up already. Now it's double posted, and still not labeled properly. I'm pretty sure I have both versions still, looks like I might have to upload it to keep it alive. Only thing I see new is actual track names. Still looks out of order though.

Edit: I just noticed they misspelled the title too. It's Cathy, not "Kathy".

Edit 2: Also, this is based off the rarer CD that was produced in 1994 in Japan (PCCB-00157). So, track order is fine as it lines up perfectly with the commercial release of this disc. Title was also fixed as well.

Yes, if you're knowledgeable about this game, please submit both versions in the upload forum and I will add/replace them.

Thanks!

Well, I feel dumb anyways lol. I forgot there was a actual CD pressed with the music from the AES/MVS versions of this (PCCB-00157). This is fairly rare, and you have a FLAC rip of it here. The other post of this game should either be removed, or replaced with the Neo Geo CD game rip version. Then again, there doesn't seem to be a section on this site for Neo Geo CD as a console either. I lost my FLAC rip from the CD, but still have the CBR 320Kbps LAME MP3 version where I cut out all the dead air at the end of the tracks. I'll have to retag the tracks now for their names if you're still wanting the Neo Geo CD version.
