thats because the songs are not ripped from the snes game, but from a music cd, which means that the snes version that we all know about is just pitched down due to the snes limitations. atleast watch the album images to know about it.

No, it's like 2 times or 2 times and a half bigger. That's because it's lossless (It does have compression, with levels up to 8). WAV is MUCH bigger. (Only by like 1 and a half more times bigger than FLAC lol)
