Mega Man X4 (PS1) (gamerip) (1997)

Of Course I Play Video Games With Normal Volume. I Don't Really Care For X4 Or X5's Soundtrack Because It Isn't The Type Of Video Game Music I'm In To. Hell, I Think Neo Arcadia From Mega Man Zero 1 Beats Mega Man X4's Soundtrack. Mega Man X4 Is The Only Game Of The X Series Where I Haven't Listen To The Soundtrack Outside Of The Game Once. I Honestly Don't understand Why People love X4's Soundtrack So Much. By The Way, The Type Of Video Game Music I Like Is The NES/Nintendo Entertainment System, The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, The SNES/Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Or Pretty Much Just 8 Bit & 16 Bit Music When It Comes To Video Games. As of The PlayStation 1 Soundtracks, I Couldn't Care Less About Them Unless If It's Castlevania Symphony Of The Night Or Mega Man X6. Now To think of it Besides Symphony Of The Night & The Mega Man Games, I Haven't Played Any Other Game On The PlayStation. The Only PlayStation Console I Played Was The PlayStation 2. I've Always Been More Of A Nintendo Guy Than A PlayStation Guy. I Also Like Gameboy Advance Music. I Only Have 9 Gameboy Advance Games At The Moment.
Well ..... but I will be very sincere to you the music of megaman zero does not have horrible audio bits I do not know the boss theme I am very disappointed is more, even the zx and zxadvent is much better than that

I Only Listen To ZX's Soundtrack. I Haven't Played Them Yet & I'm Still Trying To Get Them. I'm Not Sure Weather Or Not Your Comparing The ZX Games To The Three Consoles I Just Stated Because This Sentence Makes No Sense.

Seriously? How are you going to leave the megaman x4 soundrack? if storm owl is very good magma dragoon incredible like jet stingray split mushroom and slash beast I did not get this leapin' lizards leave x4 in music 9 or 7/10 not a 4 you can tell that you play megaman x games without weird volume! !
Ever heard of opinions?

manito the only thing you have to do is if you have a very good pc, download the demume emulator and install the rom and that's it;)

That's Cheating. The Only Games I Play On A Emulator Is The Gameboy Games Because I Don't Have A Gameboy & Because I'm Still Trying To Get The ZX Games.

why cheat? if only emulate the game and that's it
I've Only Played The Mega Man Gameboy Games On An emulator. I Consider It Cheating Because It's Makes Getting The Games Too Easy (Watch An Ad Or 2 Or Just Download It) & being Able To Fast Forward Through The Game. I'm Not Gonna Include Save States Because That's On Every Collection Of Games I've Ever Played. Such As Mega Man Legacy Collection, Castlevania Anniversary Collection (Which I Haven't Played), & On The NES/SNES Mini's (Which I Also Haven't Played).

Mega Man X4's Soundtrack Is Bland And Boring. Oddly enough, It's Worst Than X2's Soundtrack. But, Than Again That Could Be Me Not Caring About Most PSX's Soundtracks. X4 As A Game Is The 2ND Best Mega Man X Game, only losing to the original.
Soundtrack:4/10. Game:9.3/10
STORM OWL AND JET STINGRAY ARE BOPS tho

Mega Man X4 is the first out of the Playstation 1 trilogy. They did a damn good job moving mega man x to the Playstation. The game itself is extremely fun. The stages are extremely fun and they don't take 6 or 7 minutes to beat and they don't have long stretchs of walking in a straight line like X3. There isn't a single stage in this game that I find boring. The bosses are fun although with their weaknesses, they suffer from a huge case of Sparkman drill syndrome. The weapons aren't useful and they're weaker then your charge shoot. Rising fire and the ground hunter are the only good weapons in this game. The armor parts are the best of the whole x series. Not a single one of them suck or are useless like the head parts in X2. This game is also where Zero becomes a fully playable character and not just throw him in there and give him a fear of boss doors. As for the soundtrack, it's extremely forgettable and boring. Besides the intro stage and both of frost walrus's theme songs. As for the story, it's one of the dumbest plots in video game history. Lastly, the voice acting is awful, but in a entertaining way. Overall, the game is amazing and the soundtrack is forgettable beyond belief.
Soundtrack: 4.3/10.
Game: 9.3/10.

I really like this soundtrack it ranks 4th for me of all the X soundtracks. Especially Opening Stage X, which is one of my favorites in the entire X series. Soundtrack: 7/10

Honestly, I really don't care about this soundtrack. The soundtrack sounds so boring and dull that I rather listen to mega man 5's soundtrack any day over X4. The only theme songs I like in this game are the intro stage and both of frost walrus's theme songs. Aside from those, that's about it. As for me, the soundtrack ranks somewhere in the late 20s or 30s out of all the main mega man games I've played (Classic, X, Zero, ZX, and the gameboy/Mega Man World titles). I didn't post this comment to start a flame war, I posted it because no matter how many times I play this game or listen to the soundtrack, I can't force myself to like it.

Yeah, you don’t have to like it and I mean really all the stages just kinda sound the same.

This is my favorite Mega Man game of all time. I love everything about it. The bosses, stages, anime cut scenes, and especially the soundtrack. Now don't get me wrong, the soundtrack is extremely out of place for an X game, but MM8's was and it's one of the best ones. I really like the unique sound of it and remember every track so well I could compose them all without listening to them at all. This game has gotten me through some hard times and I really respect and like the game for that. Everything about the game is great. It's a shame that X5 and 6, even though getting the soundtracks right, failed to live up to it's high set standard. (Although X5 does have its high points.) Overall X4 is an amazing game that is almost as good as the first game.

I agree that Mega Man X4 is a masterpiece with fun bosses, great stages, hilarious anime cutscenes, and extremely fun saber combat. However, X4's soundtrack is really damn bland and boring. Most of them sound so forgettable and don't sound like they belong in a Mega Man X game. The only ones I like are both of Frost Walrus's theme songs and X's opening theme. Aside from those, the rest of the soundtrack is bland and boring. Honestly, X5 and X6 have way better soundtracks then X4.

Does anyone have any idea why the Mega Man X5 soundtrack has not yet been uploaded, yet almost every other Mega Man game has?

It was on here back in 2022, but it was removed for some reason. I'm not sure why, but I'm assuming it was deleted because the person who posted it might have deleted their account.

Hm, okay. I suppose I could reupload it then, given a few days.
