D-Return (X68000) (gamerip) (1989)

In my attempt to go through every original, safe-for-work X68000 game, this is the kind of album I dread. It's long and not particularly good, even frequently sounding harsh. There are a few songs that start out well but peter or just sound harsh. Take A Traitor or Success- it's almost good, but just too plain and a bit harsh at points. In my opinion, the best track is Unebi's Theme. There are objectively good and exciting parts in it but there's also bad and uninteresting parts. Aside from that, Unused 2 is a clever little track worth a listen. Satomi's Theme is also alright. Overall, 5.5/10.
