Why did you do it in mp3? Why not in ogg/flac?

The program that I used to rip the .pck files converts them to .ogg, but I couldn't see the length of the tracks in the folder, so I mass convert them with other program to mp3. Not in flac because of the size. One .pck file has 5 000 tracks, other 10 000, other even 20 000. They scattered music track in differend .pck files and to make sure I didn't miss any I wanted to check every one of them. They even put same song in multiple .pck files with different name so to compare and remove them I needed to see their length.

You could have converted from ogg to pure wav without compression. That way you would not have lost quality and would have got the necessary metadata. Then convert to flac for compression. But you did the conversion twice on an already degraded signal and got twice worse sound.
