Bionic Commando (Commodore 64) (gamerip) (1988)

This soundtrack was originally scored by Harumi Fujita for the Arcade version but they put Tim Follin in charge for the Commodore 64 version and I have to say, despite the hardware limitations, this is the best rendition of this sound track in my opinion. As can be expected, Follin just kicks the whole thing up to 11. There are some imperfections in this album. The Title Screen track is notably weak and sometimes the instruments just run a little too harsh for my taste. He also does a stylistic harsh beep in Top Secret at 0:09 and 0:11, which works fair enough, but it is a little rough. But aside from that, he just overall inserts a lot of life and passion in the album on top of the good that was already there. I can already tell going through it that this is an album I'll be revisiting, as I've already revisited several times already. 9.9/10.

In my opinion,
Exceptional: The Front Line, The Tower of Demon, Top Secret
Also Good:
Infiltration, High Score Theme La Lengua

Also: A track is missing! There's no Big Fortress (Round 2) (SID Stereo)
