Lady Phantom (TurboGrafx-16) (gamerip) (1991)

My Rating: 8.8/10
Personal Favorites:
Tracks 3, 4, 10, 11

Nice space beats with a metallic (not metal) sound. The instrumentation here is fun and unusual, with tracks 5-6 making nice use of an seemingly but still incomprehensible voice backdrop. There's also a nice implementation of a discordant, jarring instrument in track 11 that's well placed. Aside from that, track 4 also exhibits a nice minimalistic feeling that captures a techy, tense battle. This is one of those albums where even if you're not fondest of the individual tracks, you can still appreciate a lot of talent was behind them.
