Diggy's Adventure: Puzzle Tomb (gamerip) (2013)

I played this game a lot when I was younger. I never took the time to check out the soundtrack, but I saw this was added today and it reminded me to, so thank you

You got rid of the higher quality tracks, where did they come from if not the game

Sorry about that, I didn't realize that those were the higher quality versions. I just saw that the KHinsider page was missing most of the sound effects, so I ripped the game for the rest of them, and the ripped sound files replaced the high quality ones. I just submitted a reupload request for two of the high quality songs, "Mining, Drilling, Willy-Nilly" (aka music_game) and "Build me a Drill" (aka music_upgrades). I don't know where a higher resolution version of the title song is or what it's name is, but if you have it, I recommend uploading it. In the update request I just sent out, I also asked them to restore the high quality version of music_menu if they have it too. If neither you nor the mod team have the high quality version of music_menu, I can just reach out to the composer directly and ask him for it (his name is Finn M-K). I'm sorry for the mixup I caused, I'm doing what I can to fix it. Thank you.

In the original upload there were 3 low quality versions of all the tracks then only 2 high quality ones not including the menu music, so I'm wondering if they come from somewhere outside of the game maybe like the composer's website

I see. Yesterday I reuploaded the two high quality versions of the songs that were on this page originally. I looked through all of the composer's online profiles and found nothing, even the two high quality ones, so I am unsure where they're from. I'll reach out to the composer directly to see if he has the high quality version of "music_menu".

Update: I got into contact with Finn M-K, and he provided me the mp3's of the three songs. The final track, "music_menu" is called "Deep Explorers". I have updated my update request to include the third track as well. The best quality he had was 256kbps, which is basically the same as the other high resolution tracks (260kbps and 252kbps confusingly) that were here before they were overwritten by the low quality gamerips.

No way, seriously? Upload them as a different album though since they aren't ripped from the game

Good idea, I'll do that now. I'm not sure if the mod team will accept it as a full album, as it's only three songs and not even the best mp3 quality, but hopefully it goes through. I left instructions for the mod team to add it to this page instead if they feel it doesn't constitute a full album.

They allowed Post Void Single I think they will allow this

Well, I think this is the first time that anybody is ever hearing the title music in high quality, plus the first time anybody is seeing the real names of the music
True. I'm just glad the original composer still had the high quality versions and was willing to share. Also, in regards to an earlier comment, it appears the moderators just added the high quality songs to the gamerip instead of creating a new album, which I suspected might happen. Oh well, at least people have them now.

If I may ask, what did Mr. M-K say to you when you reached out other than send the files?

Also I just realized all the files from Finn M-K are clipping a little bit, I put together this download of just the music and I added de-amplified versions so they aren't distorted anymore (it makes a big difference)

Thank you for doing that. I wasn't too worried about the clipping because the affect appeared to not show when played on the web (it did however clip with windows media player).

He said nothing. He literally just sent me the files. I asked him for it, and he gave it to me. I'm not sure if he knew that the files were going to be preserved on KHinsider or if he just thought I was going to listen to the tracks, but he didn't inquire and neither did I. I don't think it'll be any issue though, as he hasn't published the songs on any platform (so it's not like we're pirating it), and the music is from a free game running on deprecated software from over a decade ago. If he is uncomfortable with the high resolution audio on K-H Insider, he can submit a takedown request. I would imagine though that he wouldn't mind his old music being here, as it is important to the history and preservation of this game (which at the moment can only run on Flashpoint and NG Player). So yeah, that's basically it.

It's really weird he's never published it cause all the metadata is there (proper names, credits, etc.) unless he literally just did all that to send it to you, which would be crazy too
