Came here for the X-Men music. Very good rip, aside from the reverb that is completely unnecessary. It has proper sound balance that is absent from the MAME rips. It's as if I am listening to a different version of the game altogether.

No. It's very common technique in Japanese audio studios regarding retro game music. It makes FM sound more pleasant.

Thank you for upload with proper track naming.
Processing like Chorus and Reverb is necessary for original game audio. It brings certain richness and warmth to FM sound.
