Xenon 2 - Megablast (X68000) (gamerip) (1991)

If you've come across this album and you're reading this, scroll up and click on the Amiga version of Xenon II. While I don't think the sound tracks match, the Amiga contains the original scoring and is much better, with beautiful instrumentation and rapping lyrics- all in 1989! If you didn't do that, oh well, this album is fair enough. The soundtrack was not perfectly aligned to this synthesizer, with some instrumentation just not sounding nearly as good as it could, yet the arrangements of the tracks are still clever. In general, the OPM tracks are more interesting and do a lot of cool stuff, but they're not great sounding at points. The MT-32 tracks have a more balanced sound, but it sort of washes everything out. Overall, I preferred the OPM, but it is harsh. Track 7 is notably fun, but you can really see how the poor instrumentation just ultimately holds the song back, despite how well it is arranged. Overall, 7.5/10.

In my opinion, the better tracks are: Track 5, 7 8, 9, 10, 13
