Imo, this version of the song absolutely sucks.

First of all,the setpieces:
Its not as cool as Sonic.exe chasing after Sonic in Angel Island-styled hell which is burning to a crisp.
Instead,we have a place where BF and Sonic.exe have a normal rap battle and the speaker is Master Emerald,with GF inside.How is the second setpiece cool at all?

The main point,the song:

You will be shocked,but Confronting Yourself song for fnf didnt even ASKED for PERMISSION to use the song.However,they credited Saster,the creator of the song,so they got away with it.Now,ima end this spoiler.

The song in the version with chasing is actually fitting solid with instrumental.However,the second version is just like "So lets make the song not match with instrumental and make characters have longer turns so its like a normal FNF song,not smth very climactic".

Thats their fault,because the first version i was saying is way cooler than the second version we got.
