Certainly one of the all-time great game soundtracks, and a perfect fit for the drama unfolding in the cinema scenes of the NES classic. The arcade version is also quite cool and memorable.
Just a friendly tip: the first bunch of tracks numbered from 01 to 26 are from the popular NES home version of Ninja Gaiden. The rest, from 27-48, are from the less well-known arcade version.

Ah that must explain why I didn't recognize the arrangement on track 1! I'm only familiar with the arcade soundtrack, never heard the NES one myself haha
