El Viento (Genesis) (gamerip) (1991)

This is another album by Motoi Sakuraba and one of his more bland ones. If you're looking for some mindless old JRPG music to groove out to, this will get the job done. It's not great, but it's not bad. None of the tracks will hurt your ears but you probably won't remember any of them. The best tracks in my opinion are Stage 6 - Detroit Car Factory, which manages to have a nice grungy feel, and the Final Battle track, which is fine but unnoteworthy in comparison to similar game-ending songs from around the same period.
 
This is one of Sakuraba's better mid-career work, up there with Granada and Sol-Feace. Energetic, unlike his rather bland later work.
