Plok! (SNES) (gamerip) (1993)

Wow! This is awesome!
Bring s back memories and I have to say this is excelent music for a very underrated game.
thank you very much from germany

Such a radically good OST from Tim Follins! I was happy to see it in the uploads and immediately clicked on it, no regret, even more awesome than I remember it!

Why do the source songs sound worse than the YouTube rips? they're like 2 different versions of the songs.
the youtube rips don't have the interpolation that's supposed to be there to muffle the audio and make it sound like it normally would. sad that those are the most popular because they're really bad

Change Log:
Re-rendered original files due to low quality and volume. Added official track titles from "Plok Original SNES Soundtrack" (RR-003).

The SNES/SFC's interpolation option was Guassian, it tends to make things sound very muffled, yet many composers worked around those limitations. Whenever I render SNES/SFC music, I go for Cubic or Sinc interpolation at 44100HZ, which seems to satisfy the ears of the average listener, and SNES diehards.

edit: probably gonna switch to 64000 Hz, since that's double the snes's actual sample rate (32000 Hz). as for the interpolation, i'll stick to sinc, has similar distortions to gaussian, but is much clearer like cubic. cubic is a little crunchy, while sinc is a little rounder.
