Dinosaur (FM Towns) (gamerip) (1991)

Nihon Falcom just has some excellent albums and this is no exception. The beginning tracks of this album are fairly strong and there's a lot of dungeon crawling music after that. Now, this album is available both on the PC-88 and the FM Towns, and both hold their own in my opinion. There's also a redone version, but in my opinion it is not as good. I do think the PC-88 has a little extra umph in some tracks (notably, the second bridge in BURNING! just doesn't have the same kick in the FM Towns) but the FM Towns balances that out by frequently just having a nicer sound. Anyway, great album overall, 9.25/10.

In my opinion,
Exceptional Tracks: Burning!
Great Tracks:
Spirit Hymn, Charge!, Exciting Shop, When Grieving Ends the Fight Begins, Dinosaur, The Weaving of Dreams, Wind Emblem
Also Pretty Good:
God!, Into the Castle, Tower of Ordeals, The Tower of Darius, Spirit Tower

I'm actually quite sad, although there are nice changes in the album, the version of The Weaving of Dreams is missing the Sorcerian cameo song inbetween now. I'm not sure whre that version came from but I do love it a lot.
