MEGA DIMENSION NEPTUNE VII Dream Edition DG-ROM (2015)

An extremely good soundtrack. So many amazing songs such as Absolute, Voltage, Will be Venus, Drive Away, Providence, Uranus, Outside the Dimension, A Whirlpool of Insanity, Shadows of Stone Tower, and even more. This game has absolutely everything you would and could expect from a great soundtrack, and even puts most more well known games to shame when it comes to sound quality. Not much more needs to be said.

While the quality of the sounds is over the average, the soundtrack is pretty generic, it has their moments at times, but sounds pretty much like any other animeish game soundtrack. While it is technically good, the style is weak.

You also need to consider the fact that more than half of the soundtrack is missing since that missing portion is quite literally copied from the first few games, unchanged or unaltered for several years. (Hell even in Rebirth3 they crack at the joke of them constantly reusing assets over and over again)

By far the best tracks are Voltage and Zero Dimension's random battle theme. Otherwise it's as you say, generic, animeish soundtrack.
(The game for the most part is OK as well, vastly better than any of the prior games LOL)
