Perhaps I'm being unduly harsh with this rating. Maybe listening to the Princess Maker 2 soundtrack four times this week has jaded my ratings with what could be. However, this album is just unremarkable midi soundtrack that feels like something anyone could bang out, regardless of music training, if they were given a keyboard. Take Tracks 5 and 9 for instance. Just a sequence of keys and then throw in some bass instruments in the background, flip it up here and there. It's just not particularly skilled.
