Mahou Daisakusen (FM Towns) (gamerip) (1995)

Of all the Mahou Daisakusen albums that I have listened to so far (Arcade, X68000, FM Towns), this one sounds the nicest. The synthesizer on the FM Towns just reduces some of the basicness of the instrumentation (and static) that is present on the other systems. Not all the tracks are great, but they're all good enough, and Sorcer Strike is particularly exceptional and communicates a nice optimistic feeling of soaring through space on an adventure. Overall, 8.37/10.

Also Good: Riot Dance, Organic Metal, Unknown 1.
